College Soccer: Philadelphia University

High School Soccer: Shawnee High School

Ryan Schroy is a recent alumni of Philadelphia University where he played 4 years of collegiate soccer and graduated with a major in marketing and minor in business management.

Youth Soccer: A Native of Medford, Ryan started his youth career for Medford Hurricanes before moving to play soccer for Marlton Lightning. Ryan was part of a team that won a National Championship in 2010 along with State and Regional championships in 2012. During this span Schroy was also a member of the New Jersey ODP Program and played for the semi-professional team AC Crusaders at the age of 16.  After playing and graduating from Shawnee High School he went on to continue his career on a scholarship to Philadelphia University.

College: “Division II soccer provided an incredible experience and taught me to multi-task effectively between academics and soccer. While I was there, we were CACC Champions in 2013 and 2014. I was awarded CACC All-Tournament team in 2013 and in 2014 where we entered the NCAA tournament. While I was at Philadelphia University, I held all the clinics for incoming freshman from sophomore year to my senior year. What I have learned throughout the years is that that every coach and program has their own style of play and way of coaching at all levels. I have learned what works and what doesn’t. The reason why I have decided to coach with Diamond Soccer is because I want to give back to my community and teach proper technique while providing high quality training.”
